How To Become a Freemason?

One of the most common misconceptions about Freemasonry - and there are many such misconceptions - is that you have to be invited to join.

Nothing could be further from the truth. There is absolutely no reason why you should not ask to join. In fact, that is the more correct procedure!

To become a Freemason you will need to be a man aged 21 or over (unless wishing to join through the Universities Scheme), be of good character and believe in a Supreme Being.
